Adding a proxy

When entering internet explorer there is tool bar along the top. On this bar there is a “Tools” tab, clicking on the tab will give you a drop down menu, in the drop down menu there is an “Internet options” button once clicked it will open a new window.

In the new window navigate to the “connections” tab here you will see a button labelled LAN settings this will open another new window.

The new window should contain a tick box labelled “use automatic configuration script” this box should be ticked and you should enter the proxy link. For the Cambridgeshire county the proxy is http://proxy.cambsed.net/staff.pac for schools.

Once the information is entered keep clicking ok until it returns you to internet explorer.
