Adding a new PC to the domain

To put a new computer on the domain you first open the start menu, from here right click “Computer” and scroll down to properties, this should open a new window.

From here open “Advanced system settings” this will also open a new window. Navigate to the “computer name” tab and click “change” this will open another window.

In the Computer name window ensure the domain box is highlighted and your local domain is put in (.local).

It will then ask you to enter admin details.

Once complete you should restart the PC, next time you login it will be on the domain server.
